History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerald was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
