History: The child of a Shoemaker, who enjoyed hunting, Nicholas was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He's also a talented Shoemaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'6". He wears long strands of sapphire and short grey dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He has chestnut hair. He has green eyes and a grey hat with a tan feather.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He tends to his Gardener job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
