He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: John was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. After a long history of fighting, John and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
