Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Cory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.
