History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Marshal for hire.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born in the north to a Marshal, Gunter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Gunter has worked very hard to control his curse. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Courier work with an outfit from a few towns over. Courier work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Courier job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hubert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
