Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Hugh is a bit of a follower. Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Reynard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty yellow coat over it. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has shaved his head bald. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'1" when asserting himself. He has moderate length blonde hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult
