Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Norman and his spouse have recently divorced.

He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.
