History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now owns his own business.
