Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His black hair is still thick. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Revenge; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with red lining and desert motifs. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. He is baby faced.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Shepherd. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. At some point he was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Description: With tan face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has achieved small success as a Guard.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Description: He wears just a violet suit. He carries with him a set of kukris, each one with a jet on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has brown eyes.

Personality: He is a Farmer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To be a Baker again; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with brown colored cloaks and clothing. His red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Map Maker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. After a long history of fighting, Alexandre and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and expand his business
