Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Anselm embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Anselm and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. John was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bricklayer. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
