He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Ralf is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Ralf was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Ralf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in the north to a Navigator, Roland learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Being a Navigator kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he feels threatened by others

History: He got into the Sailor business at a young age. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.
