Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a Layabout, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sailor and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Richard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others

History: He got into the Navigator business at a young age. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
