Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting orcs, the young Ralf began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Diggory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lance embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born in the north. Lance was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Farmer. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
