Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Randal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
