Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Alex is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
