His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Clerebold hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
