History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Godfrey and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Jeweler. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Jeweler for the past few years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and many drow want him driven away
