History: Born in the north to a Marshal, Lance learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp.
