Description: Standing 5'6", this man wears professional attire. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.
Personality: Nicholas is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Carter, but he was a colossal failure. He's also a talented Carter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He has wavy white hair. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. Guy enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Guy grew up listening to his father's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he's looking for his big break

Description: He stands about 5'7" and dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He wears his brown hair up in a very large beehive style do. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is happy with his job as a Carpenter. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Peter fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roger's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He works hard and plays hard.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Glassblower arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Roger has worked very hard to control his curse. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He feeds upon the attention of others.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Trey fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
