Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is a great chef.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and seeks redemption

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Dyer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and he has a crush on the local dyer

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
