A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Dean and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
