History: Patrick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Lance was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against giants

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Lance was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Hugh will drive conversation. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
