His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Guy is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: An older man who wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a rapier on his belt, he is not a threatening figure. He keeps his long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. His eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His first spouse was a Stableman, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
