Percival Heiser, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This late middle aged man wears a brown vest and prefers grey and blue shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down and is in decent physical shape. He wears his blonde hair down. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Percival is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. During his travels, Percival and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Percival discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Percival fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Diggory Cromwell, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: With blue face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a greataxe on his belt. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. At a young age his mother died while driving off some giants. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in greataxe use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Diggory was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.
