Description: He wears tattered old clothes. He carries with him a set of daggers, each one with a jet on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has a very tight haircut. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Guy was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Guy alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against giants

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He sports blue clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His long silver hair reaches down to his waist. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He dresses like a well dressed Mercenary does. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in the north to a Mercenary, Conrad learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has achieved small success as a Mercenary.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.

Description: This man wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He wears his white hair up in a very large beehive style do. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and seeks redemption

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. He has a dull look in his blue eyes.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kody does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
