History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Gerard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
