History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gerald studied abroad. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Gifted from a young age, Lance studied abroad. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
