Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Frederick hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and many orcs want him driven away

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a Guard first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He worked as a nervous Guard and found it very stressful. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
