History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. A true patriot, Hugh would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.
