Personality: Bertram hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Anselm was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently the stress of being a Cook has made it difficult for him to sleep.
