History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Theobald liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He tends to his Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shoemaker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
