History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roger grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roger. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He tends to his Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and expand his business
