Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for him, and Patrick does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When Patrick reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. History: Lance was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He worked as a nervous Barrister and found it very stressful. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
