Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Weaver but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Don was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He's also a talented Farmer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shane grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
