History: He comes from a rich eastern family. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. Gomory took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up trident and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adelard grew up listening to his father's many stories. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
