History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Roland's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Marshal.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Kody was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
