History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His childhood dream was to be a Crown-heir, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kody grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and to reunite with his old friends

He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Ernest lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He now owns his own business.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
