History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Randal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miller. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Simon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
