When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Thomas enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Thomas hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Armorer for the past few years.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born to a Tanner, his father struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shipwright. He struck the Shipwright job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is greedy

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Alexandre has worked very hard to control his curse. After a long history of fighting, Alexandre and his spouse have recently divorced.
