Personality: Richard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He is a Yochlol in disguise. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and a deep hatred of dire rats

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His childhood dream was to be a Herbalist, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: This western man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. His clothes are grease stained in places. His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Diggory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: He has a missing left leg. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His hair is black, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. Kody enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Kody abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.
