Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is greedy; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
