History: Heward was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His first spouse was a Mortician, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: Born to a Healer, his father struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
