History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He got into the Dilettante business at a young age. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new dilettante responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Born to a Barkeep, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fisher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Lance abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure
