Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Adelard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are green.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Raymond embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Raymond lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ploughman they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sage, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sage and was forced into it by his family.

His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears a tight fitting white shirt and pants. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His silver hair is lengthy. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Henry was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Jeweler. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs, and he perpetually has his whip ready. His chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a whip and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
