History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Herbalist. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

History: Patrick was born the youngest of three triplets. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears long strands of ruby and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His tied-back hair is chestnut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Arnold speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
