History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Charles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Charles and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Justin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
