History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Norman lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age his father died while driving off some illithids. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in kukri use. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Simon hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Miller. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and revenge

His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He takes great joy in being the best Sailor in town.

History: He got into the Sailor business at a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Fortune-teller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sailor responsibilities is difficult; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
