History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Lance took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greatsword and armor he uses now. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he's repulsed by the pc

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a deep hatred of brigands

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
