History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He tends to his Blacksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Personality: Bernard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Gardener profession.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gifted student he started as a Gardener, but he got bored and became a Fortune-teller. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: Standing 5'11", this man prefers to wear black pants and tee shirts. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: William lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
