His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He tends to his Mayor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born in the east. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Baker. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
